The rock fishing is getting better and better and a little closer. We've been the last three days and gotten our limits plus throw backs every day. Yesterday we were throwing back 40 pounders! I had the same party for New Year's Eve and New Year's Day and they had some world class fishing. We had to run about 30 miles each day but it was well worth it. New Year's day was the best. We caught plenty first thing and then started jigging with light tackle for a few releases. Then it went slow for a little while but about 1:00 it went crazy. I couldn't even get the boat in gear-big 30 to 40 pounders as soon as you set out. It was the best I've seen this year.
