Pirate's Cove Fishing Tourney

Sorry it's been so long since a report but there really hasn't been much to talk about. We've had some good days but mostly it's been kind of slow. We've been catching dolphin and a few marlin. We just finished up the Pirate's Cove Tournament this past week and we won for the biggest yellowfin tuna. Not exactly what we were after but we'll take it. I think we tied for 8th overall (out of 99 boats) so we didn't do too bad. The big news was a 1,228 pound blue marlin that was boated by a Spencer boat. That is a new state record and obviously won the tournament. Hopefully marlin fishing will pick up a little bit and it won't be long before the tunas start showing up in full force again. Give us a call if you want to go-we have plenty of open dates. 252-473-1964
