what a difference a day makes

On Tuesday I couldn't make a right turn-only caught a few fish. However on Wednesday I couldn't make a wrong turn-the fish wouldn't stay away. We started off the day with about 40 dolphin then caught 4 or 5 tuna-the party didn't want anymore so then we caught a quad of whites. And if that wasn't enough we caught a 50 pound wahoo and then a blue marlin. At 1:30 the party was ready to come home so we were in early. Man, what a day of fishing-doesn't get much better than that.

Blown out

Well, we were blown out all weekend plus Monday. It was blowing northeast about 20-25 so it was a no go for us. It's been a long time since we've any northeast wind like that-maybe that will shake things up for us. The fishing had been ok previously but nothing red hot-lots of bailer dolphin, a few tuna and maybe a marlin every now and then. We have Friday and Sunday open this week if anyone wants to go.

fishing report

Fishing has been pretty good over the last week or so-lots of dolphin and some tuna with a billfish thrown in here and there. We've got several open days in July so give us a call if you would like to go. Boats are fishing from the 900 line all the way down south of the point.
