Tunas

Rock fishing continues to be very slow but the tunas are still here in full force. We went on Sunday and caught our limit early and headed home. We went out again on Tuesday and again it was all you wanted. We had our limit by 9:30 and called it a day. I'm not sure what to say about when the rock will finally show up-we need some really cold weather and about 3 or 4 days of a hard Northeast wind. Unfortunately, I don't see that in the forcast. However, as I said, the tunas are still here and they are hungry-give us a call.

fishing report

We've been offshore the last two days and the tuna fishing slowed down a little bit but we still had lots of meat in the boat. I think we had about a dozen fish each day. Also, today the rock fishing went off up the beach around the steel pier. Hopefully, they are here to stay and will come a little closer to the inlet.

Great fishing continues!

We went tuna fishing the last two days and were rewarded with limits after a only an hour or two of fishing. I know I have said this several times but this is about the best fishing I've ever seen. On Thursday we also landed a 150 mako that ate one of our tunas.

Pretty good fishing

Well, what can I say? We caught more tuna today. It was a little on the slower side but we still managed to get our limit. We also had a bonus-102 pound wahoo! I'm pretty sure that's the biggest wahoo I've ever caught-it was huge! The base of it's tail was 10 inches in diameter-he was a stud!
