Catching up

We had pretty decent fishing over the weekend-a few bigeyes and some yellowfins. Then the wind started blowing and we haven't fished in three days. We'll be back out there tomorrow and ready to go. The weather looks great for the weekend and I hope the fishing is too. We have lots of open dates in July so give us a call at 252-473-1964.

Good fishing continues

The last two days we have had pretty good fishing. Lots of tuna and some nice gaffer dolphin. We haven't hardly seen any marlin yet this year but there has been plenty of meat in the box. It's been really calm for a while now-that makes for a great day on the water.

Pretty good Dolphin fishing

The tuna fishing has slowed down a little bit over the last several days but we've made up for it by limiting out on dolphin. Yesterday we had a few tuna as well with one probably over 80 pounds. We've just had this Friday open up so if you've got to get out on the water give us a call.

Fishing report

We took Wednesday off to let Alberto blow through but Tuesday was just an incredible day on the water. The water pushed in off the Point and it seemed like there were fish everywhere. We ended up with a limit of yellowfins, 4 bigeyes (all over 100 pounds), dolphin and a white marlin. It doesn't get much better than that. Fishing has been pretty consistant lately-I hope it stays that way.

Great fishing!

Wow, the last two days were incredible. We had the painters on board and they did a fantastic job! Tuesday we fished in the rain all day but it was worth it. We ended up with a limit of tuna-a box full. Wednesday was just one of those days where everything just seemed to go right. We had a limit of tuna, 15 gaffers and a double header of sailfish. One of the sails jumped off so we only ended up with one release but what a day! I wish they could be like that.

A good day on the Water

Overall, fishing was a little slow on Monday but we lucked out and managed to get a pretty decent catch. I think we ended up with 15 tunas-plenty of meat in the box.

Tunas and Dolphin

Fishing isn't off the charts right now but we're putting plenty of meat in the box each day. We've started to catch some nice gaffers to go along with the tunas. Each day it seems like we average around 8 to 10 tunas (nice ones-50 to 60 pounders) and 15 gaffers.
